The Bully Expert anti-bullying curriculum was initially developed in 2010 through a partnership with Vistelar, a world leader in workplace violence prevention and management.
Since then, hundreds of youth-focused organizations worldwide have adopted The Bully Expert curriculum, and tens of thousands of kids, teens, and parents have been trained – either directly by us or by a certified coach. In total, over 100,000 kids have been taught how to become “bully-proof.” Students give rave reviews and often report a rapid end to any bullying they may be experiencing.

Professionals have tested the verbal conflict management methods taught in real-world environments since the early 1980s. Vistelar teaches non-escalation and de-escalation skills to healthcare staff, school teachers, and police officers and has published six books on conflict management. The Bully Expert has adapted these same methods for use by children and teens.

Nationally Recognized Instructor
Master Chan Lee, a certified instructor with Vistelar and the owner of a nationally recognized martial arts school, serves as the lead instructor in our online courses. With over 30 years of experience working with children and teens, Master Lee brings his anti-bullying expertise, personal stories, and humor to deliver an engaging course.
Message From Master Chan Lee
My name is Master Chan Lee and I’m a martial arts school owner in Milwaukee, WI. My father, Grandmaster J.K. Lee, started our business in 1975 and I took over the reins in 1996.
MSU University
Prior to my learning The Bully Expert curriculum in 2010, everything I’d taught previously about bullying I’d learned from MSU University (“Making $#% Up” University). I’d been playing with my students’ lives with advice that either I’d made up, or someone else concocted, who had no authoritative background in conflict management.
Stunning Results
Once I started teaching this new curriculum, the impact on my students was stunning. I literally saw bullying stop after just one or two lessons. Then, the results over time were even more incredible.
Seeing this happen was truly rewarding, but what was even more significant for my school was the impact this new anti-bullying program had on my credibility. I went from being the local “Karate Guy” to being recognized as the anti-bullying authority.
Newfound Credibility
Frankly, I was astonished by the impact of my sudden credibility as the anti-bullying expert. I was selected to receive Milwaukee’s prestigious 40 under 40 award, I had the opportunity to do an anti-bullying promotion with the Milwaukee Bucks, I was asked to do anti-bullying talks at school principal conferences, I was repeatedly invited to be a guest on local TV programs, and I received referrals from local school resource officers.
Life Skills, Not Just Bully-Proofing
I confidently say “lives changed” because this program isn’t just an anti-bullying program – it’s actually a life skills program that’s heads and shoulders above any other program out there (and I’ve seen almost all of them).
After teaching The Bully Expert program since 2010, I’ve seen the lasting impact this program has on kids during their journey to adulthood.
